You'll be taken to a private room, given a moment to prepare, and your esthetician will walk you through every step before they begin. Important: Accutane, AHA & Retinol Users — Please Read
If you are currently taking Accutane (isotretinoin), you cannot receive waxing services. Accutane thins the skin and waxing can cause serious skin lifting and damage. You must be off Accutane for at least 6 months before waxing.
If you use AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) or retinol products — including prescription tretinoin, Retin-A, or over-the-counter retinol serums — you cannot be waxed on areas where those products are applied. These ingredients thin and sensitize the skin, making it prone to tearing during waxing. Please discontinue use on the area for at least 5–7 days before your appointment and let your esthetician know.

What to expect,

Book your appointment
Choose your location, service, and preferred time online. It takes less than 2 minutes. New clients receive 50% off their first Brazilian, Deep Bikini, or Bikini wax.
Prepare at home
Let hair grow to at least ¼ inch (10 days from shaving). No spray tan, tanning beds, or sunburns on the area to be waxed before your appointment.
Arrive & check in
Arrive and check in via the Mangomint app — or check in via the text message you received. Fill out your consent form and have a seat. Your waxer will be with you as soon as she can.
Your service
Welcome to the treatment room! Your esthetician will guide you through preparation and answer any questions. For intimate services you will have privacy while you get ready.
Aftercare & rebooking
You'll receive aftercare guidance before you leave. We recommend booking your next appointment before you go to maintain your results.
About Discomfort
Let's be honest: it's waxing, not a massage.
There's a quick sting when the wax comes off and the hair is removed from its root, but it's over almost immediately, and most clients are surprised by how manageable the experience actually is.
We also have a few tricks up our sleeve and a signature way of waxing that helps make the whole experience a lot less painful than you imagined.
The best part? It gets easier with every visit. Regular waxing means finer, softer regrowth and way less discomfort over time.
Most Brazilian appointments are booked for 30 minutes. The actual waxing? Usually closer to 15. By that time your esthetician knows all about your vacation plans, favorite reality show, or difficult coworker, you'll already be smooth and on your way out the door.
Before your appointment
- Let hair grow to at least ¼ inch (10 days from shaving)
- Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, or sunburns on the area to be waxed for at least 24 hours before your appointment
- Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before
- Take ibuprofen 30 minutes before if you're concerned about discomfort
After your appointment
- Don't swim in Utah Lake or any lake for 24–48 hours (or any hot tub/pool) — we wish we were kidding.
- Avoid sun exposure on waxed areas for 24 hours
- Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer
- After 48 hours: begin gentle exfoliation 2–3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs
- Ask us about PFB Vanish — our recommended product for preventing ingrown hairs
